MTC23 Hydronics/Chillers Systems Oct 11, 2024 08:30 am

Hydronic systems use water circulation to provide heat or cool to spaces. Central plants provide a “green” solution to satisfy high-profile goals for building owners i.e. using the least amount of material in your HVAC systems and lowering energy costs through efficient operation and seamless integration. Whether you are trying to condition spaces for people or equipment, this seminar is for you! It will help you understand how these systems work and what you can do to make it better. We will cover fundamentals of fluid dynamics, heat transfer techniques to reduce energy, how to determine best piping configuration, balancing power consumption between pumps and fans, auxiliary components such as expansion tanks, appropriate distribution design, and advantages and disadvantages of chilled water systems versus other HVAC arrangements. Includes lunch and attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion. Limited to 25 Attendees.
