MTP29 Advanced Systems Thinking & Professional Foundations Nov 4, 2026 03:00 pm
This advanced course moves beyond basic tool identification to build a professional, systems-thinking mindset. Students will learn to apply plumbing codes not just as rules, but as frameworks for system integrity and property protection. The curriculum integrates diagnostic logic and a holistic view of home systems, preparing students to think critically about performance and reliability rather than just performing isolated repairs.
Emphasis is placed on safety as a thinking discipline, advanced decision-making under real jobsite conditions, and understanding how each component impacts the complete home system. Upon completion, students will possess a systems-based perspective that prepares them for high-level technical and diagnostic challenges throughout the remainder of the program.
