Management 101: Your Management Style- TUESDAY, MARCH 18, 2025, 3pm-7pm
What is your management style? How do those who report to you respond and react to you?
Are you an energizer, harmonizer, or forecaster? Are you more democratic or autocratic?
Whatever your management style, and whatever it says about how you lead others, it’s something you should know if you want to be successful long-term.
A major part of learning how to make others better (the most important part of being a manager at any company) is understanding your style of management and learning to use it effectively.
In this session we’ll dive into different leadership approaches, explore your leadership style, evaluate tools and techniques that will enable you to motive, encourage and drive the results you and your company desire.
Management 201: The 4 “S’s” of Management- TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 2025 3pm-7pm
During this session we will look at the blind spots that exist that managers will overcompensate or just not evaluate as deeply as possible. We then look at tools and techniques that will strengthen 4 main areas of development in the Managers tool belt.
There are 4 major areas, as a manager, we are responsible for leading in our business – no matter the size:
- Skills
- Staff
- Structure
- Strategy
Understanding Your People:
To effectively manage people, the manager must not only understand them, but he must also understand the dynamics of interaction with and between them. By better understanding their people, participants are in a more advantageous position to help them grow, which in turn, can increase productivity. (Transactional Analysis)
Management 301: Communication Skills/DISC- WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2025, 3pm-7pm
